Virtual Production
Both for films and stills
Virtual Production is an umbrella term to cover the many different methods that utilize virtual solutions to film something. Some of these methods are more commonly known in the industry and have been used for decades, such as pre-vis and motion capture. However, recently with the advancing technology of 3D renderers and LED Panels new types of Virtual Production have come to life. ​
Pixojam utilizes In-Camera VFX, the latest innovation in the area, which involves using camera trackers and LED Walls in conjunction with 3D virtual worlds to create a seemless and instant solution where everything is captured in camera rather than having to add the VFX in post-production. ICVFX can save significant time of post-production work as well as giving the direction crew and the talents a more visual set to immerse themselves in making it easier to visualize the final outcome.
Environment Creation
We utilise advanced technology, such as computer-generated imagery (CGI), motion capture, 3D modelling and animation software to create 3D assets and environments for use in virtual production. This includes characters, environments, and special effects, which can be used as on-set VFX and post-production to produce film, episodic television, and other media.

We create and test complex scenes in a virtual environment before they are physically built on set, allowing for greater flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and creative freedom in the production process.

Pixojam Virtual Production is constantly looking at new and innovative ways of improving our own technology and knowledge of current trends and innovations. On a daily basis, the team at Pixojam is actively creating, experimenting, testing and designing new systems or features that could enhance the experience for the clients and the final product.
Integration and Consultation
Pixojam virtual production assists film studios and broadcasters in implementing and integrating virtual production technologies into their workflow, including guiding the selection of appropriate hardware and software and training on how to use these tools effectively.
Our integration plans enable customisation of the technology to meet clients’ specific needs, which is crucial in successfully enforcing the technology and empowers clients to save time and money while creating high-quality digital content.
Education
Pixojam Academy is a training program that concentrates on teaching the skills and techniques involved in virtual production, including instruction on using the latest virtual production technology, such as real-time engines, virtual cameras, and camera tracking.
Furthermore, the training contains 3D modelling, animation, compositing, and other skills necessary for creating the assets and environments used in virtual production.
We provide students with the skills needed for a career in the film, television, or gaming industries and are geared towards professionals looking to expand their skill set in this field.
